Hip Pointer
A Hip Pointer is an injury which is a deep bruise of the hip bone, surrounding soft tissue structures and the 'ball' part of the femur.
What is Hip Pointer?
Hip pointer is characterized by bruising or contusion of pelvis brim (also referred to as the iliac crest) and the surrounding tissues as a result of injury or assault. In severe conditions formation of hematoma (appearance of a blood clot under skin) may also occur.
